How we test. we walk through registration ourselves, put an amount in via Bancontact, ask for the money back and measure how long it takes. Every operator goes past the Gaming Commission's white and black lists and read the bonus terms line by line. What we could not verify does not appear.
Weekly limit, age bar and exclusion
The Belgian framework around player protection is above the European average in strictness and you notice it at signup. By default €200 per week per site may go in. Downwards it goes without an intermediate step, adjusting upwards follows a check and a term.
Self-exclusion in Belgium is handled centrally, through EPIS: one registration excludes you at once from every licensed operator, online and on-site. Registering costs nothing. Under-21s have been shut out of casino, hall and betting since September 2024; 18 still applies at the National Lottery alone. The bar is statutory, not a house rule.
